With more than five decades combined of industry knowledge and experience, Brown and Halper arrive at ASMC at a time of record growth. In 2005, Suzuki sold 82,101 vehicles -- the most in company history. This year, ASMC continues its impressive sales growth, selling an all-time monthly best 7,210 and 8,542 vehicles in January and February respectively.In Brown's new position as vice president, marketing and public relations, he oversees ASMC's comprehensive marketing communications division, which includes all advertising and corporate communications activities. Tom Carney, who recently directed ASMC's sales and marketing departments, will move to a senior role as vice president, sales. Halper's new role as vice president, quality and service affords him the opportunity to oversee all aspects of Suzuki's rising customer service satisfaction and its improving customer retention. He also will manage the company's training and service programs.
